LODGING POLICIES

The Woods is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us. There is a $5.00 credit card processing fee on ALL cancellations.

PETS ALLOWED in rooms 3,4 only. Subject to availability.
There is a pet fee and you must check pets in at office upon arrival.

CANCELLATION FEES:
$5.00 processing fee on ALL cancellations.
To avoid an additional $50.00 fee, please provide cancellation notice at least 48 hours prior to your reservation. No refund for cancellations made after check in time on day of your reservation.


Check-in: Anytime after 3:30 PM. (no early check-ins)

Check-out: 11:00 AM. (no late checkouts)

Your key will be in the lock box next to your door. Code to lock box will be emailed to you the day before your arrival. Guests bringing pets must check pets in at the office and sign pet policy at time of arrival to receive room key.

Absolutely No Smoking in the rooms or on the porches.

Absolutely No Cooking (grills, smokers, griddles, crock pots, etc.) in the rooms or on the porches.

If the maximum number of guests (4) is exceeded without approval, you will be charged an additional fee of $100.00 For liability purposes, no one is allowed to sleep on the floor and no extra beds are allowed in the rooms.

NO SMOKING POLICY
SMOKE-FREE MOTEL The Woods Motel & More, is a Smoke-Free Motel. For safety and to assure that our facility is not exposed to items or actions that create an odor which is unhealthy and objectionable to our guests and staff, and that is difficult to remove from the air, carpet, walls, and furniture we do not permit smoking tobacco, marijuana, illegal drugs, e-cigarettes, vape pens, vaping, cartridges containing the liquid of nicotine, hookahs, incense, cooking, cigars, candle burning, the use or diffusing of patchouli oil or other strong-smelling plant-based essential oils or synthetic products in our rooms or in public areas where other guests may be exposed. A minimum fee of $100.00 will be charged for smoking in your room or on the porch or throwing cigarette butts on the ground. Guests are encouraged to notify Front Desk staff immediately if they smell cigarette, marijuana, or other objectionable odors. Marijuana is prohibited at all times. CANDLE, INCENSE, ESSENTIAL OILS: Candle, incense, essential oils (diffusing, vaporizing, etc.) are prohibited. These items and activities will be treated as smoking, a fine accessed, and the guest may be evicted with no refunds. Please see Non-Smoking policy. We ask that guests refrain from use of patchouli oil and other strong-smelling plant-based or synthetic items or products that cause the room to be taken out of service due to objectionable odor. We reserve the right and you hereby authorize us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or the motel property during your stay, including and without limitation for all property damage, missing or damaged items, smoking fee, cooking fee, cleaning fee, guest compensation, loss of revenue, etc. NO-COOKING, COOKING APPLIANCES, COMBUSTIBLES, OR FIREWORKS: The safety of our guests, staff, and this facility is extremely important to us. A minimum fee of $300.00 will be charged for cooking in a room. Except for the microwave, coffee makers and refrigerator units that the motel provides, preparation of food in guest rooms by any type of cooking appliances including, but not limited to hot plates, toaster ovens, water heaters, rice cookers, combustible, open flame, grills, burners, heating appliance, or any other item intended for cooking is strictly prohibited. Open fires, flames or cooking grills, either charcoal or gas, are only allowed in designated areas where grills are provided by the Motel. Other than the bbq grills, the fire pit(s) provided by the Motel are the only areas where a fire may be built. In the event of county burn ban, no open flames of any kind will be allowed. This includes fire pits and grills, whether gas or charcoal. A limited number of Styrofoam ice-chests are available for guests, for a small fee. The Woods Motel & More, reserves the right to remove and/or confiscate items or appliances intended for cooking that may be found in a guest room immediately without notice to you and to charge you for any costs incurred for taking such action or for any loss or damage caused to the motel property, premises or property, or to any motel guests or third party as a result of your failure to comply with this policy. We also reserves the right to ask you to leave the motel and remove your belongings from the room immediately if we shall, in our sole opinion, deem that you have used the motel room in an irresponsible manner or in a manner that will compromise the safety of, or cause damage and/or harm to the motel room, the motel premises, the other motel guests, our staff, or any other persons or the reputation of The Woods Motel & More, without any compensation and/or any reimbursement to you. We reserve the right and you hereby authorize us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or the motel property during your stay, including and without limitation for all property damage, missing or damaged items, smoking fee, cooking fee, cleaning fee, guest compensation, etc.

PET POLICY
We are currently a pet facility WITH RESTRICTIONS. At check-in, the guest must present/register each pet. Including ADA compliant Service Dogs. We require each dog (including ADA compliant Service Dogs) to wear a collar or harness with current tags attached: identification and contact information, and proof of current rabies vaccination. Pet Fee: THERE IS A NON-REFUNDABLE $25.00 PET FEE. There is a $100.00 fee for each undeclared/non-approved dog/pet brought into the hotel. The Guest is liable for the health, safety, and welfare of their dogs at all times. Guest agrees and authorizes The Woods Motel & More, to assess charges to the credit card on file at registration for any and all damages discovered prior to or after departure, including, but not limited to: pet odor and stains, repair or replacement of hotel property, excessive and/or exceptional cleaning or extermination charges, loss of hotel revenue caused by the dog, including an ADA compliant Service Dog 28 CFR 36.302 (c) (8). Dogs must be clean, fully house-trained, parasite free and disease free (i.e. ticks, fleas, Parvo, etc.) All dogs must be on a leash when outside of rooms and crated if unattended in rooms for ANY period of time. (Most damage occurs when owners leave animals unattended and not crated.) Training pads are not allowed and dogs must use the bathroom outside, away from buildings. Owners are expected to clean up afterwards. Never use towels or linen to clean up dog waste. Dogs are expected to be quiet, well behaved, and non-destructive. Guests will be given an opportunity to eliminate any noise complaints. In the event you are unable to satisfy this clause, you may be asked to leave the hotel without a refund and will be financially responsible for any and all costs associated with any compensation that may be given to appease a disturbed guest(s). There is no limit to these rate adjustments or lost revenue.The payment and/or reimbursement for such damage is payable on demand. Dogs are not allowed in rooms other than that which they are registered. (Rooms 3 and 4 are the ONLY pet approved rooms.) You are required to clean up after your pets on both hotel property and the surrounding area. This includes all grassy areas, parking lot, fire pit area and trails. :We understand that accidents are sometimes unavoidable. If an accident should occur, please call Front Desk immediately so that we may try to prevent any permanent damage. :Please do not bathe your dog in the bathtub or sink.Failure to abide will result in an additional cleaning fee. :The Woods Motel & More is not responsible for dogs that may exit guest rooms including but not limited to any escape as a result of hotel staff entry or exit of the premises or access to the guest room. Pets are only allowed in approved pet friendly rooms. We reserve the right of removal of dog(s) from the premises, refuse or discontinue service without refund if in the hotel’s sole discretion, the dog is considered dangerous, unhealthy, or likely to frighten, harm, disrupt hotel guests, has damaged hotel property, or for failure to abide by these policies. We adhere to the ADA definition of Service Dog.When it is not obvious what service a Service Dog provides, Staff may ask two clarifying questions to determine eligibility 28 CFR 36.302 (c) (6). The undersigned guest has read, fully understands and hereby agrees to comply with this entire PET POLICY AND AGREEMENT of which a copy has been received and accepts full financial responsibility of any and all charges as outlined above and agrees to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend the Woods Motel LLC, its owners, agents, and employees from any and all liability, damage, fines, claims, losses, or cost of any type including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising out of or relating to any claim for personal injury or property damage caused by the dog(s) or Service Dog, and agrees to make reimbursement for such damages on demand. The undersigned further agrees to release, waive, and forever discharge, and covenant not to sue The Woods Motel LLC, related in any way to this agreement. We adhere to the ADA definition of Service Dog.When it is not obvious what service a Service Dog provides, Staff may ask two clarifying questions to determine eligibility 28 CFR 36.302 (c) (6). EXCEEDING MAXIMUM GUEST (4)
Maximum capacity for each room is 4 guests. The only exception is 2 adults and 3 small children. Must call for approval. AUTO-COLLECT
A 100 percent deposit is collected at the time of purchase. Payment for retail items and gift certificates is collected at the time of purchase.

Your credit card information is stored and processed securely.
